Cuisine American
- ¼ cup dijon mustard
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 12 hawaiian rolls
- 12 oz. sliced smoked turkey
- 2 cups swiss cheese, shredded (I like gruyere here)
- 3 tbsp salted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried parsley
Preheat the oven to 400°.
Stir together the dijon mustard, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and black pepper.
Slice the rolls in half lengthwise, removing the tops in one piece. Place the bottom half of the rolls onto a sheet pan. Spread the dijon mixture evenly over the bottom buns. Arrange the smoked turkey slices over the bottom buns, folding each piece over one bun at a time for easier pulling-apart.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the turkey, then place the top buns back on top of the sliders.
Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 10 minutes, on the lowest rack.
Meanwhile, heat the butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and dried parsley. Cook the garlic until just barely browned, about 3 minutes. After the first 10 minutes of baking, brush the garlic butter over the tops of the rolls.Bake uncovered for 10 more minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately, and enjoy.
